Coronavirus Update

Dear Member,
In response to on-going health concerns for our members and staff, effective immediately New Haven County Credit Union will be closing our main office lobby area and transacting business through our lockbox located in the vestibule area in front of the lobby door at 450 Universal Drive, North Haven.

We will continue to offer all services including deposits, withdrawals, purchasing checks, wiring funds, etc.  All ATMs will continue to be available for cash withdrawals, and your ACH direct deposit and withdrawal requests will be processed as usual. 
Here are the highlights:

  1. Your account is available online and through our ATMs at no cost to you. 
  2. We will be at our office to serve you through our lockbox (on the right, next to the front door).
    • We ask that you wait outside the front door until the vestibule area is clear to limit the number of people in the vestibule area.
    • We will disinfect the vestibule area throughout the day to maintain a safe environment.  Be sure to practice safe hygiene to protect yourself and others.
  3. We will be available by phone at 203-234-8773.  We have several lines, however please be patient if you have trouble reaching us – we will be assisting those at the branch as well as assisting members on multiple lines.
  4. We look forward to helping you with your loan needs.  To ensure confidentiality, please call to apply for a loan.  If necessary, we will make an appointment for you to close your loan at the credit union.  And, as always, you can apply for a loan online at www.nhccu.com/Loan-Application.
  5. Use M.A.T.T.  Our M.A.T.T. audio response system is available 24 hours a day at 1-855-502-8916 (toll free).  M.A.T.T. provides access to your account information, the ability to transfer funds, pay your loan and/or request funds.  Attached is a guide to assist you in accessing M.A.T.T.
  6. Request Check.  There are two options available to obtain a check from your account.
  7. Request a check through M.A.T.T.  The request will be processed the next business day and a check will be mailed to you.
  8. Call our member services team at 203-234-8773 and a member of our team will assist with your request.

We will continue our regular office hours of 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  Our staff will be working to meet your needs, they will simply be practicing social distancing and cleanliness as recommended by the CDC and the State of Connecticut.
